A no is a no unless it's my no, apparently
Something to think about today: It is difficult for me to say no.
Ryan: Let me come over tonight.
Me: Nah, that's not a good idea. I have to be up early tomorrow.
Ryan: No sex, just a movie. I'll bring clothes for tomorrow.
Me: No, I can't do that.
Ryan: I can tell you want me to come over! Don't fight it, just say yes.
Me: Okay, fine.
He comes over and we have sex and all the while, I'm thinking, I said no, didn't I? He thinks my reticence is cute. I find it demoralizing.
